Welcome To GLOW, Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. This site features four diferent series of GLOW tapes, totaling nearly 100 videos. Most was recorded from cable TV broadcasts, so the picture and sound is quite good. This show ran for +/- four years here in Denver, and while I have quite a lot, there is a lot more to be had. GLOW SHOW #100: (A Look Back Over The Years) - $20.00

GLOW celebrates the landmark 100th show by going back and reviewing it's four year span of over 500 wrestling matches, featuring over 80 GLOW girls. This tape features some of the show's best moments, plus footage never before seen on TV. This was supposed to be a one hour broadcast, but once they got started, they wound up having to come back the following week and do a second hour. SHOW 100 Part One reviews years one and two, and the earlier GLOW stars like Palestina, Spanish Red, Hollywood, Americana, Tina, Ashley, and The California Doll. SHOW 100 Part Two: Focuses on years three and four, and the bevy of new stars like the beautiful Godiva, Tiffany Mellon, Broadway Rose, Daisy, Roxy Astor, and more. Don't worry, you'll get to see 'em all on this tape. Also, a review of the GLOW crown, it's history, and all it's champions featuring footage of each and every title change. In many markets, this was the FINAL time GLOW was ever seen on TV. And, since all the commercials are edited out, there are four full-length bonus matchesplaced at the end of this tape, including a rare "penalty box" match featuring an apperance by the rarely seen Brunhilda.

By the time this show hit the air, GLOW was already gone from most markets, making this largely unseen show a coveted "must have" for all of us GLOW collectors. Also on this tape is the extremely rare GLOW SHOW 99, the lead in to the landmark GLOW SHOW 100. Finally, to round out this two hour delicacy of GLOW collectibles is three all new matches never before presented here, as they were missing from my GLOW collection. GLOW TAPE #38: GLOW Girls in the Media (revised)
This tape is for the diehard GLOW fan. On it is the complete Donahue Show, in which the girls wrestle each other, then wrestle Phil Donahue. The girls show off their beauty and intelligence by answering audience questions, and never losing their sweet demeanor even when faced with less than pleasant attitudes from the skeptics. Next, it's on to The Sally Jesse Raphael Show, for some in-the-ring antics with Sally. Then Mother Stallone, Aunt Kitty and the girls go on The Late Show with Ross Shaeffer, and light up late night TV. There's "Al Bundy vs Big Bad Mama" from TV's Married with Children, where Al thinks he's going to wrestle Hollywood and Babe The Farmer's Daughter, but finds out at the last minute that he's wrestling Mama (ouch). In another segment, Al is Married to the girl of his dreams, played by Sally the Farmer's Daughter. There's also the girl's appearances on game shows, other sitcoms and in movies. Plus a "Hollywood Insider" report on the sexy world of women's wrestling, featuring the GLOW girls, Magnificent Mimi and others. Finally, a FOX News story reported by Maury Povich, concerning Emily "Mountain Fiji" Dole and her ordeal with LA county sheriffs, and the resulting charges of police brutality. The report is complete with shocking amateur camera footage of the ordeal, and a live interview with Mountain Fiji.

This wonderful live show was taped September 16, 1988 at the El Cortez Convention Center, and shot with handhelds. Live, it's very much like the TV show. What I am surprised by is the local news coverage the live show got. In fact, the local news affiliates treated it as something really special. Three of those San Diego area news reports are included at the end of this tape.
