Even if I had 10 Mimi Hagiwara compilations, It would not be enough. This beautiful woman and her seemingly endless array of stunning formal dresses and breathtaking bathing suits made her ring entrances as fascinating as her actual wrestling matches, which were usually awe inspiring. On this tape we see Mimi in a video shoot, as the sensual enchantress that she truly was, as well as in some tremendous battles, where even in crushing defeat, her beauty shines through. This Mimi compilation has some of Mimi's finest matches. The matches vs Richter, Chigusa and Kumi are classics.
And the match vs Ikeshita could be her best work, ever. There's also Mimi's retirement match vs Tarantula and the Mimi's retirement ceremony. The tears of joy, the hugs and smiles from Mimi and her peers are a nice finish for a great tape.

Mimi Hagiwara Retirement Ceremony: Tarantula removes her mask. Mimi and Tarantula retire together.

Somewhere along the line, after having her win every conceivable singles and tag team title, the promoters figured out something…
"What if we take this beautiful woman and turn her into a hapless victim for all the big, powerful monsters of Women's Wrestling?"
And so it happened. Before long Mimi was being battered from pillar to post, folded into a paper airplane, and javelin tossed into the crowds of her adoring fans. Not only did this elicit great sympathy from the fans for Mimi, but it got immediately got super heels like Tenjin Masami and Rhonda Singh over as "Devils" and "Monsters". Mimi was one of the great sellers of pain and agony, and the camera close-ups on her distressed face and body in this series are truly exquisite. Mimi Hagiwara is something special, and there may never be another quite like her.

Mimi suffers at the hands of Devil Masami, Tarantula, LeiLani Kai, Masked Yu, and others. Her opponents on this tape are the virtual "who's who" of administering pain and destruction. Mimi is pounded early and often, and with devastating results. The matches are long, and the beatings are severe.

The violence continues, as Mimi shows her great ability to take a bump, and sell the action to the crowd. So good was she, that I sometimes wondered if it was work, or was she really being killed out there. All the larger girls basically toss her through the air like a paper airplane. Masami seems to save the especially violent beatings just for Mimi. Masami bites Mimi until she is in tears, then beats her half to death with a Kendo stick!

Then Dump Matsumoto tosses her like a dart. Mimi learns first hand why Rhonda Singh is called Monster Ripper. Singh literally tears her limb from limb.
